before it's too late.

It's pretty sad that I haven't posted about Christmas or New Year's yet, buuuut...better late than never, right?

No pics of me because, well, some things are better left private.  I'm one of those lucky people who look as sick as they are, and was in no picture taking mood.  Besides that, we had a wonderful Christmas.  Scarlett was beyond spoiled, of course, and Dev and I didn't fair too badly ourselves. Even Stella had a stocking stuffed to the brim! It was truly a blessed Christmas.

Can't forget about our gift exchange with our BFFEs.

Precious Avery and the whole Bradford fam squeezed us in one evening over the break.  We were SO happy too, as they are very high in demand when they come in town! Wish these girls had more time to play together, I know they would be the bestest of friends, just like their mama's :)

New Years Eve was a little different for me this year -- as in I actually went out and did something for the first time in I don't know long!  Nothing big, we just hung out with old high school friends, but it was so fun!

Me & Devin

Mike & Drew, the gracious hosts!  Dev will be Mike's best man in their wedding in October.
Andy & Carly -- they came solo, therefore making them the "default" couple.
Kyle & Lindsey, Daniel & Brett.  Party People.

And because it's just cute...a picture of Scarlett giving Stella her first Sprinkles "cupcake."  They really know how to steal all of our money! ;)  I realize Scarlett is sporting quite the outfit  -- she is a budding fashionista I tell you.

2010 was a great year, but I am welcoming 2011 with wide open arms.  I just *know* it is going to be one of the best.

I wish you all the happiest New Year, with all the peace, love, and JOY it can possibly hold!

Oh, and don't forget to read along with us at the Blush and Bashful Book Club.  The January book is The Help and I promise you will adore it.   Meredith will be posting the commentary for chapters 1-3 tonight so check back often!

I'm off to cook dinner, fold laundry, pick up toys, blah, blah, blah....
