CHRISTMAS CARD OUTTAKES

Just wanted to show off how photogenic Scarlett and I can be sometimes...ha!

These, my friends, are only a sampling...for your viewing pleasure.  Oh yes. We took hundreeeeds of pictures over several days trying to get something -- ANYTHING! -- decent to send to 60 people.  Ultimately this is what we went with...

My actual Christmas cards are a disaster I just don't even want to talk about.  I ended buying DIY kits at Paper Source while on an impromptu trip to Sprinkles. {okay, I'm lying...my trips to Sprinkles are never impromptu but because of how often we frequent it I have to pretend that sometimes they are} Anyway, they looked so super cute put together in the store, and I was running out of time to order something and our pictures were not going exactly as planned.  So 70 something dollars and a few days later, I'm sitting at my parents dining room table freaking out...they weren't as cute as I thought they were.  Paper Source must have done some major embellishing on their samples.  I sat there bewildered at all the assembling I was about to do, and for a few minutes I considered scratching the cards all together.  But, I just went with it, sent them, and it was a lesson very learned.  I know if you weren't lucky enough to get one in your mail box that you're just dying to see them, but it's so very sad - I didn't keep an extra for myself.  Sorry I'm not sorry.
